What are your services like?
On Sundays, we meet at the Vidor Elementary School auditorium at 10:30am. As you enter the main doors that lead
directly into the school auditorium, you'll be greeted and welcomed by our
one of our greeters and by people in our congregation. You'll be given an informative
weekly event bulletin.
Our services are different every time we get together! Some words that describe
some of our services are: lively, warm, funny, friendly, full of good
music, reverent, prayerful and expressive! We believe church should be exciting
and relevant to today's world. Church is a place where people gather gladly
to worship God.
Each time we gather, we are committed to giving each person a creative, compelling
and challenging presentation of God's Word. Pastor Kenneth Woolf teaches God's truth in a way that each person can
apply it in a practical manner every day.
Where Do I Take My Children?
We have dedicated nursery workers who will help care for your children. Our nursery ministers to children
ages 0 - 3 years. The nursery is located in an adjoining area to the main
auditorium in the school, with easy access for parents.
We also have Children's Church each Sunday morning and Wednesday Night,
after the praise and worship portion of the service. Our Children's Ministry ministers to children ages 4 - 11.
New Members and Training Classes for Leadership ...
are held as announced.
What About the Youth?
On Thursday Nights, our youth meet at 7:00pm
at New Life COTR Church Office, 270 South Archie Street (across from the Post Office in Vidor).
Our Youth Services are planned and led by students under the covering of Youth Pastor's, Chris & Jamie Collier
and Cheri Osberg. The students of Breakaway Youth Ministry are an awesome group of young, dedicated, fun loving servants to
the Lord, the church and our community. This youth ministry is specially designed to teach and equip students with the knowledge
and desire to BREAKAWAY and be separate from the world. That as teenagers, their passion would be to live for God
and not themselves, so that others would see Christ in them. Not just to be different, but to make a difference.
