"Breakaway" Youth Ministry

On Thursdays, our youth meet at 7:00pm at New Life COTR Church Offices, 270 South Archie (Across from the Post Office in Vidor) (Directions). Our Youth Services are planned and led by students under the covering of Youth Pastor's, Chris & Jamie Collier and Cheri Osberg.

The students of Breakaway Youth Ministry are an awesome group of young, dedicated, fun loving servants to the Lord, the church and our community. This youth ministry is specially designed to teach and equip students with the knowledge and desire to BREAKAWAY and be separate from the world. That as teenagers, their passion would be to live for God and not themselves, so that others would see Christ in them. Not just to be different, but to make a difference. That is what Breakaway Youth Ministry is all about...wanting the best for today's generation of youth, and for them to have the best and succeed in the things God has created them for, it is absolutely necessary for us to BREAKAWAY from the unclean things of this world.

Our name "Breakaway" comes for our theme verse, 2 Corinthians 6:17&18: "Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you. I will be a father to you and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty."

We invite all teenagers to come and experience an awesome time in worship and spending time in the Word of God every Thursday night from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at New Life COTR Church Office.
